(I like this expression too – scare the shit out of people). In my head, I panic and start to construct complicated sentences in French, but I can’t get one together, so I say “Oui? XXX Maybe it would be a good idea to cut short his pathetic, unsavoury career forever. Sure, he’s a mature and modern thinking and a lovely man, and he wouldn’t be at all surprised if I slept with a pilot or a steward occasionally when I’m working away, just as I don’t think for one minute that he misses out on a chance to bang one of his pretty young sales girls whenever he gets the opportunity. I am a very highly sexed woman.
