Section 12.1-20-05 of the code refers to sexual acts between adults and teenagers aged 15, 16 and 17:
12.1-20-05.Corruption or solicitation of minors. Sex video felony… (NY Penal Law § 130.96.)
There are other special offenses, namely “Course of sexual conduct against a child in the first degree” and “Course of sexual conduct against a child in the second degree” that punish sex with an underage person combined with an additional illegal sexual act during wide time period.
